Did Su Tseng-chang read my editoral?

Who cares? I'd like to flatter myself by thinking so, especially since ol' Smiling Light Bulb has always been my man, but whatever his inspiration, at least he's saying similar things.

Hey, I would like to think so too :)

I recalled that you tried to reach DPP to help years ago, but couldn't get response. I often wonder why.

Is that because - like I suspected earlier - that the international communication is not in their radar screen?

Or they think that the opinion from a person who is not well-known or doesn't have a prestigious title is worthless ?

Or is that because a person who always looks at things with fair and balanced views presents a potential threat?

Or ... ??

I don't know.

I walked into their office to volunteer in, I think, call 2003.

At that time they had an official position for a foreign volunteer, doing certain liaison work, but it was already filled and they didn't really know what to do with me. So I went to the TSU office, where they put me to work clipping newspaper articles that mentioned Lee Teng-hui or the party.
