Ma Ying-jeou: Once the mainland lets us, we'll build the KMT again in China

Not that it would ever happen, but Jesus Christ ...

Note: I thought it seemed unlikely this comment slipped past me, and I'm increasingly thinking the whole article more or less a fabrication/major misunderstanding.

Well, it's not really surprising. After all, he thinks he is in China right now.

But as the editorial that you linked to said since the PRC already has the "greatest party" it seems quite impossible that that will happen any time soon. ;)

He's now trying to achieve Dick Cheney status -- basically giving the majority of Taiwanese the finger on such betrayal and treachery.

Breathtaking! Absolutely breathtaking!

You know, I'ts almost at the point where if an overwhelming amount of Taiwanese don't start carrying out acts of civil disobedience, etc. -- then they are now quietly endorsing this government and whatever betrayal may come their way. The writing is on the wall (scratch that -- it's being written on their faces), and yet the Taiwanese are still in this strange denial. A denial which states that it is simply business as usual.

Americans were in this denial, too. But they don't have a country that wishes to annex them and has the means to do so.

if that was the exact quote. what was Ma thinking when he say that.
which bring back to this question again.
1) Is ROC on Taiwan or is 2) ROC = Taiwan or 3) Taiwan = ROC

N.J.,

Now, in PandaMa's delusional world -- R.O.C. = China (includes Taiwan and China).

This "sellout" will probably move to US after handing over Taiwan to China.
Hope that day never happens.
