Green base: Don't forget us

As the DPP holds its various 'suggestion meetings,' bringing in professors, former politicians, NGOs and others to offer constructive criticism for the party, a number of Taiwan-oriented (本土) groups reminded the DPP that if it leaves the Taiwan-oriented cause, the party will have no value.

The Taiwan Association of University Professors (台灣教授協會), the Taiwan Society (台灣社) and it's associated groups (including 花蓮社、中社、南社、東社、北社 and 客社) were those making the appeal to the DPP not to forget it's root cause and founding principals.

Criticism seemed to be well-meaning, fair and obviously ideologically one-sided.
