You can't get people to vote "no" on it, so boycott it, split up the ballot stations, and call it "manipulative electoral strategy" instead of "empowering the people" even when you're pushing your own referendum. When less than half of all eligible voters pick up a ballot, call it a rejection to make the result sound more legally binding than it is. </B><BR/><BR/>Absolutely correct!<BR/><BR/>The KMT (and the DPP who capitulated, I may add) completely undermined the democratic process during the referenda in 2004 and 2008 by simply boycotting it.<BR/><BR/>And now they have gone one step further to validate an invalid process.<BR/><BR/>My goodness! If this was done in Canada, there would be protests at every street corner. Why doesn't the KMT bring in paperless unverifiable e-voting Diebold machines like they have in the U.S.?
